Welcome to the Second Life Virtual Genealogical Society (SLVGS)!
The SLVGS is the only genealogical society to meet using the virtual world platform Second Life®, allowing genealogists from around the world to participate in meetings, events, chats, and study groups.
Members include genealogists of all levels of experience – from absolute beginners to accredited, seasoned professionals – who share research ideas, helpful instruction, and those ‘Aha!’ moments.

Annual dues are $7.50 U.S.
Meetings are held monthly on the 2nd Sunday, at 4:30 p.m. SLT (“Second Life Time,” same as Pacific Time). Details of our scheduled events may be found on our Calendar page.
